This training course is a spin off from our popular Marine Data Management Course – but carefully tailored for professionals who work within the Ports or Harbours sector. Delivered online or face-to-face, it can be tweaked depending on your requirements. During the course you will learn the important role that data plays and how effective data management can improve interoperability, support safe operations and increase efficiency.

An Introduction to Data Governance
Data Management principles and organisation
Data Management and the Port Marine Safety Code
Data in a business management framework
The role of the Data Steward
Data sharing, interoperability, data exchange and publishing

This 1-day course can be split over 2 mornings if required and is aimed at those who work with marine data in ports or harbours.
