Thank you for your feedback

During the last quarter of 2018, OceanWise commissioned an external marketing agency to conduct a feedback survey for us. This forms part of our ongoing commitment to continuously review and improve our products and services.

We received a great response and some excellent feedback! Firstly we would like to say a huge thank to all who took the time to speak to Peter Baynes and/or fill in the online questionnaire. Your ideas, thoughts and comments are of great value to us and will help us shape how we work in the future.

We are now disseminating the feedback and will look to make some positive changes in the coming few months. Below are a few examples of some changes that are already under way:

Mapping Data
Raster Charts XL coverage will be extended geographically

Monitoring
New Port-Log user interface under development (“Port-Log 3”)
API for Port-log – please click here.

Software
Selected software will be made available as a cloud based, subscription service
Incident Management extension (to Port-Log) under development

Training & Our Workshops
Our 1-day Data Management Course is now available for those working outside of the marine sector
Our annual Marine Data Management and GIS Workshop will continue to be free-of-charge to attend

Marketing
Our website is under development! We are currently working on a re-fresh of the design and improved layout
Our technical sheets have a fresh new look and are being extended
