Port-Log at the Port of Dover!

Marico Marine and OceanWise are collaborating on an auspicious project with the Port of Dover which involves installing a new ‘state of the art’ operating environment designed to improve decision making and enhance efficiencies at the Port.

Our role in the project is to design, integrate and install a new system which will monitor, manage and publish the port’s environmental data.

Robert Proctor, Oceanographer at OceanWise commented: “We will be installing a new tide station and a range of sensors which will monitor the constantly changing environmental conditions at the Port. Historical and real-time data will be published via ‘Port-Log’ which will integrate the often-complex range of sensor data and displays it into an easy-to-use single output (web-page) which can be shared, viewed and manipulated by multiple users”.
